L’objectif de l’action 1 du projet CARIBSAT est la conception et la mise à disposition d’une cartographie généraliste d’occupation du sol sur l’ensemble de l’arc insulaire des Petites Antilles (zone d'étude en Figure 1). Celle-ci est élaborée à partir de la donnée satellitaire régionale (SPOT 5 à 10 mètres de résolution) régulièrement acquise au niveau de la station SEAS ...
L'objectif est, d'une part, de rassembler l'ensemble des informations liées aux manifestations éruptives à l'échelle régionale afin de relier leurs impacts dans une échelle spatiale et temporelle et, d'autre part, d'observer d'éventuelles logiques organisationnelles dans le déroulement de chaque éruption.  
En téléchargeant les fichiers de la carte pédologique vectorisée de la Martinique, le demandeur s'engage expressément (i) à ne diffuser d'aucune façon tout ou partie de ces fichiers à des tiers, et (ii) à citer ses sources comme étant : "Carte pédologique de la Martinique - F. Colmet-Daage - IRD, 1969" dans toute publication faisant référence à ces travaux.
